Mr Andy Fowler graduated from the University of Birmingham and went on to complete Trauma & Orthopaedic training in Nottingham. He completed sub-specialist training in Hand Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and Wrightington Hospital. He was awarded the William Bodey award through the Royal Society of Medicine to complete a Hand Fellowship at Tygerburg Hospital, Cape Town and a travelling award from the BSSH to attend L’Institut de la Main in Paris. In 2019, he took up a Consultant position in Hand & Wrist surgery (trauma and planned care) at the University Hospital Coventry & Warwick in 2019 and holds the British Diploma in Hand Surgery.
