Consultant Ophthalmologist in Refractive Cataract Surgery and Glaucoma Surgery.
Mr Gurpal Toor graduated from Guys Kings & St Thomas’ Medical School in 2004 and underwent extensive internal medical training prior to training in Ophthalmology at St James’ Hospital (Leeds) and at The Bristol Eye Hospital.
He went on to undertake a Glaucoma Fellowship between The Western Eye Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London) and The Hillingdon Hospital (Uxbridge).
His main area of expertise lies in Glaucoma, Refractive Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgery.
Mr Toor’s clinical and research interests include non-penetrating and micro-invasive glaucoma treatment, Trans-scleral and endoscopic cyclophotocoagulation, Combined cataract and glaucoma surgery, and Spectacle independence following cataract surgery (including multifocal lens implantation, toric IOLs and incisional refractive surgery).
Outside of work, Mr Toor is a keen cyclist and loves to explore the surrounding area with his family.
